GoShogun was a super robot anime series produced in 1981 and aired in 1982 in Japan. It is variously referred to in English as "Demon God of the War-Torn Land GoShogun", "Warring Demon God GoShogun", "Civil War Devil-God GoShogun" and "Macron 1".

Un día, se abre un portal a otra dimensión, y de él emergen unas criaturas invencibles y gigantescas que amenazan con acabar con toda la humanidad. La única línea de defensa de la Tierra es un grupo de guerreros que se han adaptado a la tecnología alienígena para poder contraatacar.
